NEEDED:

The following 3 patterns:

Performance notes:

All settings will remain the same

unless otherwise noted.

Frame

OPEN PAINT SHOP PRO

1 File > Open your chosen graphic

2 Window > Duplicate (Shift + D)

3 Close the original

4 Image > Resize

Settings:

Resample using = Smart Size

Lock aspect ratio = Checked

Resize all layers = Checked

Width =  No more than 434 pixels

Height = No more than 374 pixels

   OK

5 Optional

Adjust > Sharpness > Sharpen

6 Materials Palette

Settings:

Foreground = wood020 Pattern

Angle = 45 , Scale = 100

Texture = NOT Checked

   OK

Background = goldenbead Pattern

Settings:

Angle = 0 , Scale = 100

Texture = NOT Checked

   OK

7 Image > Add Borders

Settings:

Color = White or color not on the

edges of your graphic.

Symmetric = Checked, 3 Pixels

   OK

8 Magic Wand Tool
Settings:

Mode = Replace

Match mode = RGB Value

Tolerance = 0

All Checked = Sample merged,

Contiguous and Anti-alias

Feather = 0 , Outside

   Select your new border.

9 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Settings:

Match mode = None

Sample merged = Checked

Blend mode = Normal

Opacity = 100

Fill your selection with your

goldenbead pattern.

10 Selections > Invert

11  Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

Settings:

Vertical and Horizontal both at 3

Opacity = 60, Blur = 25.00

Shadow color = Black

Fill interior with color = NOT Checked

   OK

12  Image > Add Borders

Settings:

Color = White ,  5 pixels

   OK

13 Magic Wand

Select your new border.

14 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill with your wood020 pattern.

15 Image > Add Borders
Settings:

Color = White ,  3 pixels

   OK

16 Magic Wand

Select your new border

17 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill with your goldenbead pattern.

18 Image > Add Borders
Settings:

Color = White

Symmetric = NOT Checked !!!!

Left and right both at 15

Top and Bottom both at 0

   OK

19    Image > Add Borders
Settings:

Color = Black

Symmetric = NOT Checked !!!!

Left and right both at 0

Top and Bottom both at 15

   OK

20 Magic Wand

Select both of the new Black borders on

top and bottom.

Hold your shift key down when selecting

the 2nd one.

21 Materials Palette

Change your Foreground pattern to

goldfoilsmall

Settings:

Only change the Angle to 135.

   OK

22 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill the top and bottom BLACK borders

with the goldfoilsmall pattern.

23 Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

24 Magic Wand

Select the new WHITE borders on the

left and right sides.

25 Materials Palette

Change the goldfoilsmall pattern

Angle to 45.

26 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill the left and right selected borders

with your goldfoilsmall pattern.

27 Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

28 Image > Add Borders

Settings:

Symmetric = Checked

Black 1 pixel

29 Image > Add Borders
Settings:

White  3 pixels

30 Magic Wand
Select your new border

31 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill your selection with your

goldenbead pattern.

32  Image > Add Borders
Settings:

Color = White ,  25 pixels

   OK

33 Magic Wand

Select your new border.

34 Materials Palette

Change your foreground pattern

to wood020.

35 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill with your wood020 pattern.

36 Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

37  Image > Add Borders

Settings:

Color = White ,  3 pixels

   OK

38 Magic Wand

Select your new border.

39 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill with your goldenbead pattern.

40 Selections > Invert

41 Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout

42 Selections > Select None

43   Layers > New Raster Layer

Add your watermark !

44   Layers > Merge > Merge All
(Flatten)

45 File > Export > JPEG Optimizer

Compression = 25 recommended

Save as your header.

Do not close it yet !

BACKGROUND TILE

1 (S) Selection Tool

Custom Selection

Settings:

Left = 19 , Top = 75

Bottom = 131 , Right = 59

   OK

2 Edit > Copy

3 Edit > Paste > Paste As New Image

4 Effects > Image > Seamless Tiling

Settings:

Edge, Bidirectional

Width and Transition both at 50%

   OK

5 Image > Mirror

6 Image > Canvas Size

Settings:

Width = 80, Height = 56 Pixels

Placement = Left Center

   OK

7 Layers > Duplicate

8 Image > Mirror

9 Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

10  Image > Canvas Size
Settings:

Change the Width to 1200

   OK

11 Layers > New Raster Layer

12 (F) Flood Fill Tool

Fill your new layer with your wood020

pattern.

13 Layers > Arrange > Send to Bottom

14 Make your top layer active in your

layers palette.

15 Effect > 3D Effects > Drop Shadow

Settings:

Vertical = 0, Horizontal = 6

Opacity = 30, Blur = 5.00

Color = Black

Shadow on new layer = NOT Checked

   OK

16 Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

17 Image > Canvas Size

Settings:

Change the Height to 112 Pixels

Placement = Top Center

18 Layers > Duplicate

19 Image > Flip

20  File > Export > JPEG Optimizer
Compression = 25 recommended

Save as your background tile.

LETTER CREATOR TIPS!

Change your left text margins to:

Top = 0, Left = 85, Right = 10

Change your Text Color to:

Red = 245, Green = 240, Blue = 200

Link color:

Red = 51, Green = 255, Blue = 51

Signature color = White
