OK...let's take a small break here! Whew!

You might want to keep what you have at this

point for a header. That's cool, it looks good

doesn't it?!

But one of the main points of me writing this tut

is to introduce you to a new PSP 8 tool.

The Perspective Correction Tool!

Normally if you want to straighten out the appearance of part of a rectangular/square shape on your graphic you move the nodes to

each corner and click on the check mark on the top selections bar and it will do it's best to straighten its appearance! Very cool!

But you can also use it to un-straighten a

graphic which is my intention in this tut!

Yeah...my bad! ha-ha

Basically the following operations involve

moving 2 of the nodes (Nodes are Squares on

the corners, you will see 4 of them, one in each corner. You just put your cursor over one and

your cursor will change to a plus sign, then you

left click on your mouse ..hold it down and drag

the node to a new position on the graphic!)

Each time we will move 2 nodes to the very

corners of the graphic and the other 2 straight

down,up or across on the other edges to get the

effects that we are after!

It should be noted that the image will warp in

the opposite shape that you set.  You will see

what I mean as we go along. LOL

Ok...put your drink down and let's go again!

1. Perspective Correction Tool

(or PCT for short!)

Above shows how it will appear on your graphic

each time you use the PCT. You can see the 4

nodes at each corner.

Arrows above show where the nodes were

clicked and dragged for the HEADER!

The check is do, and the arrow is undo!

2. Click on the arrow to Do!

3. Image/Resize  Lock aspect checked!

Width ? x 490

4. Image/Resize,sharpen if you need to and

save as your header!

5. Edit/undo until you get back to the frame

before you applied the PCT!

6. This is how you want to make the LEFT

SIDE BORDER ICON

7. Click on the arrow to Do!

8.Image/Resize  Lock aspect checked!

Width 120 x ?

9. Again save as left SB icon and undo

10. Here is the targets for the RIGHT SIDE BORDER ICON.

11. Image/Resize  Lock aspect checked!

Width 120 x ?

12.Save as right SB icon

13. Here is where your targets are for your FOOTER!

14. Image/Resize  Lock aspect checked!

Width 220 x ?

15. Save as your Footer

16. You can use the eye dropper in Letter Creator at the top of the Body Page and left

click on the colored area outside of the frame

to set your background color so it will blend

nicely!

Well I hope you have found out some new

things and made a pretty piece of stationary!

Remember to Watermark your creations!
