Easy Triple Frame Display

By Hooty aka Doyle Allen  5/11/03

Approved by the HootyTutTestersGroup!

Do you have a narrow framed graphic that you have just finished and it needs a little snazzing up!

Here is an easy way to give it that something extra!

Goal Shown:

Preparation: You need a narrow finished framed graphic completed that is both high and narrow. Look at the goal for an example of what you might want to use.

><>>>><>><><><><><><><><><><><><><><

OK...? Here we go!

1. Resize your framed graphic so it is 380 pixels high.

2. Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen

3. Open a new transparent canvas 550x490

4.  Flood fill this with the solid color background that you want your stationary background to be.

I am using basic black which I think makes the header stand out in contrast.

5. Make your framed graphic active and Edit/Copy

6. Make your blank canvas active and Edit/Paste as New Layer.

7. Image/Rotate 30 to the left. All layers UNchecked

8.  Mover Tool: Move this frame all the way to the left.

Be careful . The frame must not overlap the edge or

you will end up with a corner of your frame missing when you save. That would be bad!

9. Layers/Duplicate

10. Image/Mirror

11.Edit/Paste as New Layer

This will be the original upright frame that will

come up.

12. Image/Resize  Note: Resize all layers UNchecked!

Only the top layer frame will be changed.

Settings:

13. Effects/Sharpen/Sharpen

14. Effects/3D effects/Drop Shadow

Settings:

15. Save as a JPEG

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

That is it! But I need to mention this.

When you load this in your header in Letter Creator,

use the Sample Eye Dropper and click on the color on your image background so it will all appear without any

tell tell signs that it isn’t a transparency gif if you know what I mean! haha

Hope you enjoyed this. This is not my original idea. I have seen this around now and again but have never seen a tutorial on it! So that’s why I have written one with the idea.

All right kiddies! Rock and Roll!
