L = 5,  R = 1019

T = 5,  B = 763

3. Ctrl + Shift + i  (invert selection) Keyboard Shortcut

4. Effects/Ulead Effects/Art Texture/Edit

Choose Gold Palette 5  Pattern Sample 5-1

6. Selection Tool  Double Click on the icon

L = 95,  R = 929

T = 95,  B = 673

8. Selections/Modify/Contract = 5

9.  Flood Tool: Fill with a pattern  of your choice from the color palette.

Setting: Scale at 100% (to start with) & Angle at zero.

Look at how yours looks. If the pattern you use

doesn’t show completely you may have to change your % and refill over and over until it

fills properly.

I used EngravedGold10 pattern I had.

Use whatever you like out of the choices you have.

My Pattern is Black and white and although it is called gold. LOL , go figure huh?

Now we are going to give our pattern an engraved or beveled appearance.

10. Effects/Texture Effects/Sculpture

Under the selections left click on the arrow head and choose a preset.

If you don’t like it do it again and choose another.

Be creative you creator you! LOL

11. Select a different color by left clicking on

the color box in the Sculpture box.

Play around and come up with something you like!

12. Click ok when you are satisfied.

13. Ctrl + Shift + f  (defloats)

14. Effects/3D Effects/Inner Bevel

Settings:

15. Ctrl + d  (deselect)

16. Save as JPEG

I usually save at 25% Optimization.

After thoughts:

That is it. Of course you could add other things

like tubes, text, brushes etc.  Sometimes it is

better to leave it simple.

 Again it is your stationary so make it look good

to you.

Letter Creator Tips!

Load what you’ve made on the Body Page with

 the Image Position LEFT & TOP chosen.

  Do not select tile!

When you load this in  Letter Creator you will

have to set your margins for the text to look

right.

For 800x600 users

Top = 100 Left = 90 Right = 10

For 1200x800 users

Top = 100 Left = 90  Right = 90

Remember to set the font size to an easy to

read size so others will enjoy reading from your

stationary.

  If they have to strain to read what is written

because of a bad color selection or too small of

font used that defeats the purpose of making

pleasing stationary now doesn’t it!

Hope you like this way of making stationary.

 Pretty easy to do once you understand the

process.

  You could turn out a bunch of these in a hurry

since the real time is taken up deciding what to

use and how fancy you want to make it.

Just make them look good so they are worth

looking!

Oh , I may need to mention this if you are new

to this style of stationary.

  It is called a Corner stationary because only

the Corner will be visible when you use it. LOL

 Thought I needed to say that for you newbees!

Study, Learn, Create and have Fun!
