Needed: PSP 8 and a basic understanding of operations. Could do with PSP 7.

Picture Tubes of your choice!

1. Open a new image: Width 1024x768
Resolution = 90, 24 bit, White
2. Change your background color to light a light grey color.
3. Effects/Plugins/Xenofex 1.0/Crumple
Setting shown:
4. Layers/New Raster Layer
5. Picture Tube: Add whatever you want to be seen to the left of the text when it is written on.
Note: It should be no wider than 330 pixels and no longer that 490 pixels or it will take up too much space needed for the text area or will not all be seen by 800x600 users.
I used a frame that I had made out of vector shapes .
See Hooty-Tut©Making Frames Using Vector Shapes for the method. Then I used EyeCandies Glass .
You can just use a tube and truck on from there if you aren’t as ambitious today! LOL
6. Mover Tool: Move your main Picture Tube to the upper left corner. Position it snuggly but with nothing hanging over the edge.
7. Layers/New Raster Layer
8. Resize the tube that you used down to the smallest size.
Settings shown: But you may want to use Continuous for your Placement Mode instead or just single click each one for variety..
Try them all. Use what you like!
9. Click and drag underneath your Main picture tube and make a random design down to the bottom of the page.
Time to get creative! LOL Do not go further to the right than your main tube is or you will run into the text area.
If you don’t like what you end up with just press delete on your keyboard and start again!
10. Now click and drag down the right side of the page to add a border there. If you mess up just Edit/Undo and try again!
My Testers group liked making a small border around the whole outside edge around the entire stat and it made some beautiful results too!
11. Layers/New Raster Layer
Now feel free to add other tubes that will enhance the over all appearance. Sparkles etc.
12. Now you can click on each individual tube layer and add a slight drop shadow to give it the appearance of depth.
Note: Once you set up and apply an effect such as drop shadow you can click on the next layer and use the keyboard short cut to apply the same effect. (Ctrl+y)
13. De-activate your background layer with the crumble by clicking on the layers pallet on the glasses. X
14. Layers/Merge/Merge Visible
15. Re-activate your background layer and click on it making it the active layer.
16. Layers/New Raster Layer
17. Pick a color to flood this new layer.
I chose one from my tube and changed the layer Mode to Overlay on the layers palette but you may choose to leave the Mode in Normal and cut back on the layer opacity which lights the shade which will make the text easy to read when I use it & it showed the crumble texture from the background .
18. Layers/Merge/Merge visible and save!
