This was written using Paint Shop Pro 9
Needed:
I used PSP 10. I believe 8 and 9 could be used.
My Gradient> aDuoTone Solid by Hooty
Unzip and put in your Gradients Folder

OPEN YOUR PSP

1  File > New
Width = 1024 , Height = 245 Pixels
Raster Layer = Checked
Transparent = Checked
   OK

2  Material Palette
Select a light shade for your foreground color,
and White as your background color.
Keep your foreground color light and
text friendly.

3  Material Palette
Change your Foreground to Gradient
Settings:
aDuoTone Solid by Hooty  gradient
Angle = 45°, Repeats = 0,
Invert = NOT Checked
Style = Linear, Texture = NOT Checked
   OK

4  Flood Fill Tool
Settings:
Match Mode = None,
Use all layers= Checked
Blend mode: Normal, Opacity = 100
Flood fill your transparent image with
your Foreground Gradient

5  Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds
Settings:
Width = 19 , Opacity = 5-10, Color = Black
Horizontal = Checked
Light from left/top = Checked
   OK

6  Image > Canvas Size
Settings:
Lock aspect ratio = NOT Checked
Width = 1024 , Height = 490 Pixels
Placement = Top - Middle
You should see that Bottom = 245 and
the rest are at zero.
   OK

7  Layers > Duplicate

8  Image > Flip

9  Layers > Merge > Merge Visible

10  Effects > Reflection Effects > Kaleidoscope
Settings:
Horizontal offset = -10
Vertical offset = -50
Rotation angle = 270
Scale factor = 25
Edge mode = Wrap

Number of petals = 6
Number of orbits = 0
Radial Suction = 24
    OK

11  Effects > Distortion Effects > Curlicues
Settings:
Number of Columns and rows both at 4
Radius = 100, Strength = 100
Symmetric and Clockwise both Checked

12  Tip: It is a good idea to look at part of
image zoomed in at 100% so you can
see how it really will look via
View > Zoom for the next step

13  If you like the way it is without this ,
cool .. just skip this step then.
Adjust > Brightness and Contrast >
Brightness/Contrast
You can make adjustments to make this
more text friendly with this. Probably
tweaking the Brightness setting alone
just a bit can help but if you notice,
the contrast will effect the darker areas
mainly if you raise the number

14  Again, this is another step for last minute
alterations or corrections but is pretty
cool if I say so myself. lol
Use this step to Brighten or dull your colors.
Adjust > Automatic Saturation Enhancement
Play with the settings and see if you like
anything.. if not just click cancel or
Edit > Undo.

15  Add your watermark

16  File > Export > JPEG Optimizer
Compression = 20 suggested.
   OK
