Answers to your FAQnA's from Hooty and friends!

  Be sure the All Tools box has a check in it on your
materials palette.
Yes I understand .. that still gets me once in a while.
I have never seen an official answer from Corel or
Jasc about that problem that creeps up from time to
time.
You have to leave the tool that changed your color
and repick your colors in your material palette again
grrrr.. but if you right click you can see the last colors
you used most of the time to make that easier doing
that.
Fortunately it seems to straighten out for future use
once you have done that ... no explanation of why though!
