Roni

Hi Everyone.   I'm Roni, aka RoniElaine, and have been with Hooty groups since December 2003 when I was introduced to his work by an online friend.   Friends encouraged me to send Hooty some examples of my "creations" and request an invitation to his Incredimail For Fun group.  Much to my surprise, I got an invitation and joined that great small group of creative people.   Within a few months I was invited to join the Testers group and have been learning more and more every day about what constitutes a good tutorial, how to give constructive feedback to authors, and help them have a final product of which we can all be proud.     In May 2004 I became a Moderator for IFF and the Chat  group and also joined the Workshop for Budding Tut Writers when it opened.    I thoroughly enjoy the creative process and the supportive atmosphere as we learn from each other.  I still marvel at what we all can learn with just a little help from our friends.

I was introduced to IncrediMail by a coworker when it was still a fairly new phenomena and took part in some of the early beta testing for them.   I am an IM addict!!!   Although I had made some stationery in Outlook Express, I really got hooked after trying IncrediMail.  I bought myself PSP7 as a birthday gift when it came out and have been using PSP almost exclusively as my graphic program ever since.   I'm now using PSP X and love it.

On the personal side.............I'm 65 years old and live in the beautiful central Texas town of San Marcos where I share my home with my Doberman and one very old cat.    Born in Philadelphia and raised there in the suburbs, I've been a Texan for over 35 years.  After an early career as a musician, I became a Social Worker, focusing mainly in the area of sexual abuse of children.   After many years as a caseworker and supervisor, my last job before I retired was the recruitment and hiring for the Texas Statewide Intake "Hotline" for reporting all cases of abuse and neglect of both children and adults in Texas.  I'm enjoying retirement which gives me more time for my son, my grandchildren, my friends...........and of course my computer!!!
