Meshi

Hi everyone, I go by Meshi (pronounced Me She),a nickname given me by my uncle when I was little and which came in handy when people in groups wanted to differentiate between Michelles.

I live in a rural part of the Northeastern portion of the United States. My husband and I are expecting to celebrate our 25th anniversary in 2006.We have two young adult children and a good number of furry pets, as well as a ball python (long story) and a couple of fish.

I've always enjoyed art since I can remember. I loved to draw as a child and am just now getting back into that. I've been into sewing clothing for my family and for gifts and I've been into many kinds of crafts, even teaching some.
Not too long after we first got a computer a friend sent an invitation to me to download IncrediMail had already been into outlook express stationery big time. I was fascinated with email stationery and wished I could make some. Never really thinking I ever could. When I got IncrediMail downloaded it had a trial of letter creator with it. I got looking more and more into IncrediMail and Letter creator and soon realized that I COULD make stationery myself, if I just had Paint Shop Pro.
So, I suggested it as a birthday gift idea and my husband got it for me just before my birthday, in March .I took a beginner class online and graduated from it. Then I went searching  for more learning for it, either before I was done with the class or just after. I don't recall. I remember being so thankful when Hooty let me into a couple of his groups that I requested to be let into. I learned so much as I asked questions and got answers and as I did the tutorials available and the new ones coming in.
I believe it was in September 2003 of that year when Hooty saw a stat I made and asked me if I could write a tutorial for it. I told him I could give it a try. I managed to come pretty close to what I'd done to achieve the look I'd gotten for my stat and he invited me to the Tester's group and asked me to submit it for testing. That was exciting and scary. I hadn't gone looking for it and never expected it.I was fairly new yet to Paint Shop Pro. He assured me that I could do it and that he needed all levels of folk to test the tutorials so that everyone could do them. I've learned lots more being in the tester's group. Hooty aims for excellence so that it isn't at all likely anyone will have difficulty following a tutorial the group releases. We all love that kind of tutorial to follow.:) A great big thank you to Hooty for this and for all he gives of himself to so many. Thank you Hooty for the opportunity to work with you and the other testers and for all you and they have taught me and continue to.
To all of you that have taken the time to read this bio I thank you and I hope that you will enjoy the tutorials that I have written for you to try. Have fun with them!
