Hi and welcome to Hootytuts,
I know you will find lots of
tutorials that you will love doing so dive in and have
fun :)
My name is Kat aka ©GukiCreations,
I'm from Iceland and my Icelandic name is not the
easiest to pronounce, besides I've gone by the name Kat
for quite some years online so am just going to stick
with it :)
Born and raised in Reykjavik and
am taking one step at a time from 40 towards 50 (9,3
steps left... lol) am living with my boyfriend, no kids
and no pets and not about to get any :)
I came across Incredimail on its
early years and there have been quite few tons of
updates on it since. Bought the bundle to be able to
play with LC and did some real simple stuff in
there. Boyfriend got me psp and now there is no turning
back. Actually took some time for me to start learning
and some real nudging from my boyfriend... lol Did a
search on Yahoo and the first group I joined had some
really nice shares of beautiful stationery so that got
me started, that group has closed now, but that is the
story on Yahoo, some stay and some go but there will
always be new ones down the road.
Kim invited me to join her
learning group and there I learned so much with her help
and patience. As time went by I ended up doing some
classes and writing some tutorials to use. At this point
I figured if I was going to write tutorials I would
better go and find someone who would teach me to do that
the right way. I really don't like doing badly written
tutorials, and yes I have done quite a few over these
couple of years I've been learning and playing in psp :)
As I had been some time in Witty
Chat Group I asked Roni where I should go to learn
proper tutorial writing and she told me about Budding
Tutorial Writers Workshop group. I had to wait a bit to
join as I was very busy but I have loved every minute of
my stay there and I learned so much from the great
people in there. I miss being in that group but then
again I would never ever had said no to the invite for
the Hooty Tut Testers group. And yep, I love it here to
and now I don't miss the Workshop as much as I did at
first :)
Here I can learn and write high
standard tutorials that I know are easy to understand
and to use. That has always been my aim from the day my
first tutorial was born and I am proud to be one of the
authors/testers in this wonderful group of great people
:)
