Hello there friends and strangers, grinners and pickers!
On this site I am sharing some of my original home recorded songs.
I have been at this sort of thing off and on for more than 30 years and maybe you will enjoy some of thoughts and noodling on the 6 string and keyboards.
I wrote my first song at the age of 16 I believe. I have written a couple hundred at least. I have lost count. I love blues and like rock and rock and roll a lot. I delve into folk and country now and again a bit too.

What else you should know about me: I started out with a guitar I bought from GoodWill that cost $37.50 I believe coming from my mom's accoustic guitar that I learned to play chords and pick a bit. My first band had Bruce Shubert as rhythm guitar, Chuck (Charlie) Bezold as our firey bass player and Freek aka Barry Bezold as the dynamic drummer! I really have to give Barry (Freek) extra kudo's. Totally awesome drummer and I still feel proud to have had him for a best friend for so many years and to have him as a drummer in our band. Awesome friend and musician!!!!! Still think about you and love ya Freek my friend!!! Barry is no longer with us. We ya my friend.
Over the years I have played with so many talented and knowledgeable musicians from Chicago (where I was born and raised), Kentucky and around South Carolina.
My truest love and most enjoyable form of music is not that popular and it is the blues. I have found blues the best outlet because you can make the guitar talk and add embellishments to what is being sung in the songs and add to the bluesy feel. For me the blues is the most expressive type of music which enables me to be more tasteful with my freestyle licks and really get into the songs. 2ndly, would be the world of rock and rock and roll where at times I can use a lot of flashy licks and run up and down the fret board here and there to show off some speed and dexterity.

Enjoy my original songs why don't cha!

I hope you find some that you like. I jump around quite a bit.

hugs
